Everything changes and yet, nothing does. What is old was once new, and what is old is new again. This is the circular rhythm of the cultural gaze. ‘Then & Now’ is an experiment in timelessness – taking iconic imagery and reinterpreting it in a way that is equally at home then as it is now. The course of time might change us and the shape of our reality, but the canon of beauty stays true. Like all art, fashion is an ever evolving, ever retrospective interaction between the past, present and future because even newness needs its reference. – TF
